Sign Up to read about queer Dracula in space 📚🚀

Hi everyone! Are you ready to see our next tour sign-ups?

We are so excited to be able to bring you a Creative Book Tour for Of Monsters and Mainframes, written by Barbara Truelove. Out on 17th July from Bindery Books! The tour will run from 14th to 20th April 2025 and we'd love your help to promote this book.

Of Monsters and Mainframes is a queer paranormal sci-fi that follows a spaceship as she sets off to clear her name after an ancient vampire murders her passengers—recruiting to her quest a messy found family of vampires, werewolves, aliens, and one remarkably friendly zombie.

This tour is open internationally to book influencers who can share their thoughts on the book in an Instagram feed post and share a creative reel, a TikTok, or a blog post. If selected, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us within a week.

Digital copies will be available for all tour hosts while physical copies will be available for US-based hosts.

Here's the cover:

Spaceships aren’t programmed to seek revenge—but for Dracula, Demeter will make an exception.

Demeter just wants to do her shuttling humans between Earth and Alpha Centauri. Unfortunately, her passengers keep dying—and not from equipment failures, as her AI medical system, Steward, would have her believe. These are paranormal murders, and they began when one nasty, ancient vampire decided to board Demeter and kill all her humans.

To keep from getting decommissioned, Demeter must join forces with her own team of A werewolf. An engineer built from the dead. A pharaoh with otherworldly powers. A vampire with a grudge. A fleet of cheerful spider drones. Together, this motley crew will face down the ultimate evil—Dracula.

The queer love child of pulp horror and classic sci-fi, Of Monsters and Mainframes is a dazzling, heartfelt odyssey that probes what it means to be one of society’s monsters—and explores the many types of friendship that make us human.

Thank you for signing up for our tours! However, please keep in mind that signing up does not guarantee you a spot on the tour since copies are very limited. We always consider both small and big accounts that love to read and engage with the book community.

All the best,
